Song started his journey as a photographer in 2010 when he picked up his first DSLR. He served as an event photographer for over half of a decade at the Pittsburgh Chinese Church.
When it comes to photography, Song's philosophy is "photos are the only time machines through which we could access our precious yet fleeting moments in the past". That's why he loves capturing every memorable moment in people's lives.
Outside of photo-shooting for events, Song also loves street photography. He is a firm believer in The Decisive Moment (by Henri Cartier-Bresson). He keeps his camera with him almost everywhere he goes because the best moments in life often happen when you least expect them.
